Abstract

The following seminar-paper reproduces and analyses an interview with one of the pioneers of Dorf Tirol’s tourisms which has its early beginnings in the fifties of the last century. The ninty-year-old man talks about comfort and village look at that time and explains how this profitable line of business could encrease despite of people’s initial mistrust of changes and strangers. As will be shown, most of his statements agree with the literature.
